One of the competitors, Norwich University in Northfield,
VT, built a modular home for this year’s Solar
Decathlon in California.
They worked with the folks at Huntington Homes in East
Montpelier
, VT to create a home
that can withstand the cold New England
winters and still have no yearly energy costs.

Jason Webster from Huntington Homes provided me with the
specs that the students used in building their modular home in the factory.
Great home guys! All the modular builders, factory owners and everyone that
loves modular construction wish you the best of luck in the competition.
