Breaking ground at new North Minneapolis modular factory
On a recent Tuesday, George stood among nearly 100 supporters and local dignitaries to celebrate the groundbreaking of a $11.8 million manufacturing facility in north Minneapolis. This new venture, George Modular Solutions, is set to revolutionize housing development and boost the local job market.

The primary mission of George Modular Solutions is twofold: expedite the creation of new housing and significantly increase employment opportunities within the community. Financial backing for this ambitious project has been secured from various entities, including Sunrise Banks, the city of Minneapolis, and U.S. Bank.
Interior construction of the facility will commence this week, with completion expected by November. Production of modular residential and commercial units is anticipated to start in January. George estimates that the facility will initially create 166 jobs, with that number projected to grow to 320 over the next few years. Additionally, the facility will offer job training programs, including certifications and GED training, to equip workers with the necessary skills for success.
