Ritz-Craft Homes, located in Mifflinburg, PA, presented this modular/system-built home on the show floor at the 2014 Louisville Housing Show in January.
In other news, Ritz-Craft Homes was the only modular home manufacturer with a booth inside the Exhibition Hall at this year’s IBS in Las Vegas.

Association of Home Builders (NAHB), IBS is billed as one of the largest trade
shows in the world. This year, for the first time, IBS, the Kitchen and Bath
Industry Show (KBIS) and the International Window Coverings Expo all co-located,
attracting over 75,000 builders, remodelers and suppliers from across the
country and covered over 650,000 square feet of exhibit space at the Las Vegas
Convention Center.
Through their participation in this show, and continued
national-level involvement in multiple areas of the housing industry,
Ritz-Craft continues to establish themselves as a leader within the
system-built housing industry.
“The involvement of the members of the modular industry at
IBS and other builder/consumer shows is paramount to the advancement of modular
construction as a preferred method of construction,” remarks
of the National Association of Home Builders. “Educational seminars, like the
one given by Ritz-Craft’s Mike Zangardi at the Building Systems Councils’
Learning Destination headquarters at IBS, give builders a first-hand
demonstration of the advantages modular building can bring to their businesses
and shows them how easy it can be to incorporate it into their construction
portfolios.”
A renewed sense of optimism and confidence in the housing
market was evident at the show. After speaking with numerous builders,
developers and designers from all over the country, many positive comments were
received regarding the housing growth outlook for 2014.
Several Ritz-Craft home builders were in attendance at the
show. They too were hopeful about the year ahead and expressed appreciation
about Ritz-Craft’s participation in the show.
Dick Burke of DB Homes remarked, “After visiting the modular
home outside today at the show, I have to say that Ritz-Craft’s product
presentation, finishes and especially design are leaps and bounds above them.”
Ritz-Craft’s participation in national-level shows has been
the spark for several innovative ideas over the years. Vaughn Buckley, another
Ritz-Craft builder from the Philadelphia area, commented, “It made me proud to
know that I am affiliated with a company that thinks big and is willing to make
the investment necessary to participate on this national stage. One thing is
for sure, Ritz-Craft never stands idle, they are always learning and trying to
get better.”
