Seven educational sessions, two networking events, one
industry achievement award and a ceremony honoring the best home designs and
marketing in the building systems industry were all covered at the Building
Systems Council’s Showcase24 conference – the only national event exclusively
for the members of the systems-built industry.
Showcase24,
held Oct.1-2 at NAHB’s headquarters in
intensive learning, networking and industry innovation. It lived up to its
name.

For many attendees, it was the first time they’ve seen each
other in years. “The economy has kept us apart, but it was great to catch-up
with my colleagues and friends – to bounce off new ideas from each other and
find out how one another is doing business-wise,” said Dwight Hikel, owner of
Shelter Systems Ltd. and the BSC’s 2012 Chairman.
