Firefighter Associations across the US are pushing every state to demand sprinkler systems in new homes because today’s prefabricated building methods spread fire quicker and cost more lives than the old rafter system and non-prefabricated products used in modern construction.

I realize that a firefighter puts their life on the line every time they respond to a fire but to blame the prefabricated building products like trusses, I-joists and laminated woods for more deaths is pushing it a little far.
