specs that the students used in building their modular home in the factory.

Building Envelope / Mechanical Specs:
- Walls: Double stud exterior walls filled with dense pack
cellulose. House wrapped with 2” Rigid Mineral Wool. R51 total. - Ceiling: 2×12 ceiling with dense pack cellulose.
Covered with 4” Rigid Mineral Wool. R60 total. - Floor: 2×12 Floor with dense pack cellulose. R43
- WRB: Solitex Mento 1000. Seams taped with Tescon
Vana tapes. - Rainscreen: 1×6 horizontal local hemlock over PT furring
strip - Windows: Intus Eforte triple pane
- HRV: Lunos through wall.
- Heat / AC: Mitsubishi Mr. Slim ASHP
- Hot Water: Steibel Eltron Tempra 20 Plus
- PV: 5kW thin film.
Depending on finishes, they think the home can be built for
$150k to $180k plus the PV array.
