When we think of the countries building modular homes we usually think of the US and Europe but modular construction is used in just about every country in the world.
This modular home is from Russia and is located just outside Moscow.
This house was designed and produced by Bio-Architects, a Russian firm, for a young family who went to live in the suburbs of Moscow on Pirogovo lake. After a successful Russian winter installation, the customers got ready for a bigger one for the whole family, children and staff.
Using simple and affordable materials – metal profile, barn board and glass – it blends harmoniously with the natural environment.
