As Editor-in-Chief of Offsite Builder, the newest print and online magazine for the offsite construction industry, I must say the reception of this publication is even more than I had hoped for.

For the past 14 years, I have written a blog about modular home construction and gave my readers the latest news, reviews, and my point of view about the people, the factories, and the business of modular housing. That blog, Modular Home Source, is still one of the leading blogs in the world for modular housing.

But construction has changed over the years since I started my modular blog. BIM, Net-Zero, Climate Change, tiny houses, ADUs, and homeless shelters are all new arrivals on the construction scene. Along with that, many things that were once done on-site are now being done off-site and delivered to the job site.
Bath Pods, improved wall panels along with other components that are beginning to make big inroads into construction like hemp and mass timber.
Modular Home Source simply wasn’t able to cover all those newer topics, so Offsite Builder magazine was launched in February at IBS in Orlando, FL to fill the need for some “boots on the ground” observations of everything Offsite.
With articles from Offsite Industry Leaders such as Daniel Small, Zena Ryder, Belinda Carr, and Colby Swanson writing monthly articles about every facet of offsite construction, you really need to subscribe today!
Also, if your company wants to reach an ever-expanding audience for your product or service, Offsite Builder is the place to advertise. Grow with us by requesting our Media Kit.
I am proud of what we’ve accomplished in just 5 months and can’t wait to see what the future brings.
