Unitised Building (UB), a large modular factory located in
Brooklyn, a suburb of
preparing to roll 100 modules a week off their production line to meet the
growing need for urban housing projects.
Currently there is a 240 room hotel being produced and
shortly another 140 rooms will begin to take shape in the factory.
The company attracted the attention of the Hickory Group,
decided to invest in
they are expanding beyond multi-unit housing and into mining man camps, aged
and health care centers and education. Hospital wards are similar in dimension
to and layout to hotel rooms and would be a good fit for the company.
UB is building modular bathrooms for Hickory Group that can
be rolled into the construction sites and moved into place.
