Champion is on a buying spree again……. The latest acquisition is Athens Park Homes in Athens, TX, a manufacturer of HUD homes and park units, those little >400sq ft boxes.

If I were a betting man, I’d wager that Cavco, Clayton and Champion will start gobbling up HUD factories later this year and early next. None of them will want to build a new factory when there are so many that will soon be for sale.
