Finding a modular log home is not easy. Finding one that doesn’t look like your typical log cabin is even harder but this home fits both criteria. It’s why I chose this model from Blue Ridge Log Cabins as my Modular Home of the Week.
Their Luxe I is a contemporary take on the traditional log home. It features solid 6×12 Eastern White Pine log exterior walls with 9′ ceilings on both levels.
The large, 8′ tall windows give the home an added sense of openness, flooding the space with natural light and framing views of the surrounding landscape. Luxe I comes standard with Electrolux appliances, 12′ full opening Panoramic Door, 2nd floor wet bar, balcony with cable railing, and 52 Low-E double pane windows.
This home won the 2019 BSC Jerry Rouleau Award for Excellence in Home Design from the Building Systems Council of the NAHB.
