Twice a week I ask the readers of my blog a question relating to the offsite and modular construction industry. Most of the time you all seem to agree with each other but there are other questions that seem to divide us.
Some of the polling answers, quite frankly, surprised me. And that’s the beauty of the Modcoach Twice-Weekly Reader Poll.

It surprised me that over a third said all of them were fads.
What is the biggest concern for the offsite construction industry for this Summer?

Labor Shortage – 21.1%

Contracts being cancelled – 15.8%

Contracts Being Cancelled came in third place!
Will any of the top 10 tract homebuilders begin building modular factories in the next 2 years?
Probably – 25.8%
Not Yet – 38.7%
Only if they can save money – 35.5%
Only one in four of you think large tract builders will open their own factory
Is Standardization the Next Evolution in Modular Construction?
YES – 45%
NO – 45%

This one was quite interesting. Almost an even poll.
