A modular factory owner called a meeting of all the company’s
employees and in the middle of it the lights went out.
The owner said “Don’t panic.” Management started blaming each other for the
outage. The engineering folks jumped on their
iPads and began Googling for likely causes for the outage.
The sales people quietly slipped out of the room to make
calls informing their builders that the company is not in trouble and really
can pay their electric bill. The factory
workers used their smart phones to see if they had power at their homes.
The owner went over to the utility room and flipped the
circuit breaker back on.
