The rumors keep on coming about Taylored Building Solutions. I thought long and hard before writing this but since I have two reliable sources, here goes.
I’m doing this for two reasons. The first is let everyone know that when there is a problem that effects our industry, I will not sweep it under the rug and secondly is make all builders and modular home factories better in dealing with each other about problems before they reach this stage.
A couple of former Taylored employees that haven’t been paid asked if they could take tools and materials in lieu of pay and were told that all the tools were leased as was the building. Rent hasn’t been paid for quite some time.
There is a builder that has given Taylored over $200,000 and not one thing has been started. Oops!
And in what can only be called poetic justice, one of the principle people at Taylored drives a 2000 or 2001 car that recently broke down. The cost to fix it was more than the car was worth and he had to scrap it and now walks to work.
