Britco Construction is now known as Metric Modular.
The company mothballed its Penticton plant for about two months this spring after its construction branch was purchased by Triple M Modular. Rehiring about 40 employees in Penticton in May, the company is again manufacturing modular construction solutions in the Peach City.
The name change has been the the works “for a few months,” according to a news release. Britco’s rental division was sold off to a separate company and has retained the brand.
Headquartered in Langley, BC, Canada, the company maintains another manufacturing plant in Agassiz.
