Mark Conte has been in the manufactured housing industry for almost 30 years, most notably as the Director of the Housing Standards Division, for the Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development.

Since 1997, his focus has been on installation beyond concrete blocks and tie downs.
Upon his retirement he started writing the blog Manufactured Housing Professional Installer. In just its first 5 months, Mark’s blog is the place every manufactured housing factory, dealer, sales rep and installer visits to learn the latest news and instructions affecting the MH installations.
Mark currently provides training for manufactured home installers in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and is now an approved trainer for persons seeking their HUD Manufactured Installation License for use in Alaska, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, Nebraska, New Jersey, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont & Wyoming.
