Five years after Hurricane Sandy destroyed communities along the shore,
some towns have used the rebuilding process as a time to reinvent themselves.


There is still a lot of work to do but Atlantic Modular Builders is making a lot of families dream of rebuilding their lost homes a reality.


Almost five years after Sandy wreaked havoc, much of the fear in this part of the Jersey Shore has dissipated as wealthy clientele build significantly larger homes along the coast. Combined with the millions of public dollars spent on new boardwalks, parks, roads and beaches, these once sleepy towns are seeing their profiles fully reinvented.

It was great to see the New York Times acknowledge the beautiful modular homes being built on the Jersey Shore. There is still a long way to go and modular will be a big part of it.
