Part Two of last week’s survey centered on education and training. I had expected slightly different responses to the questions.
In Question 8, most of you want more knowledge of the codes and regulations but the real surprise here is that almost 23% said it was ‘somewhat important and somewhat unimportant. I thought that just about everyone would have answered Very Important.

Question 9 was even more disappointing as only 50% of the respondents said that it was Very Important while the other 50% didn’t see a lot of real benefit to sales and marketing training.

Question 10 was seen by almost 94% as having a place in the modular housing industry.

Question 11 was the real shocker, at least to me. Almost three quarters of you would like to learn more about codes, regs, sales and marketing from articles on this blog and from podcasts and webinars. I think two things influenced their choices. First, one does not have to leave the office and second, It’s Free. Two perfectly good reasons. There are times when actually meeting with the trainers and fellow builders can be advantageous but not as often as I thought.
