Pennsylvania Welcomes a New Modular Construction Factory

With the growing need for added capacity in the modular construction industry, it’s not surprising that modular factories are beginning to pop up across the US to meet this demand. 

The latest factory about to open is located in Northeast PA.

Praxis Modular announces the opening of North America’s largest volumetric modular plant. The 275,000-square-foot facility is four to five times larger than most modular manufacturers and has five to six times the output of traditional modular manufacturers. Praxis manufactures wood, lightweight steel, or structural steel modules for projects throughout the northeastern United States.

120 new jobs will be created at the Praxis facility in Wilkes Barre, PA at 1055 Hanover Street location.

The vast facility boasts two production lines and state-of-the-art technology, including automation and robotics.according to Jeff Amengal, CEO, “We are excited about this opportunity Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania This will bring more than 100 new jobs and introduce new technologies, automation, robotics and innovation centers.” 

Established in 2020 by Jeff Amengal, Praxis Modular is well-positioned to provide capacity and expandability to carry out large-scale high-rise residential and commercial modular projects in the northeastern and Mid-Atlantic regions.
